Been a long time gone . . .

Well . . . I'm back.  I've been on quilt sabbatical for . . . well, for about five years apparently.  I took the sabbatical in order to get a law degree.  Which I did. It didn't take five years - just the regular three - but the year before (studying for the LSAT) and the year after (trying to get my head above water/starting new career) did not permit much quilting either.  This blog was always a way for me to keep track of my quilts, and since I didn't do much quilting during law school, there wasn't much to blog about.  But now there's a little more quilting going on.  A very little bit.  So . . . I blog.  Below is a quilt I actually made during the first year of law school - er, well, probably finished.  I'm sure I started it beforehand.  My memory's a little thin now.  But the finished pictures say they were taken January 5, 2015.

Bonnie and Camille's Swoon pattern.

Finished size, approximately 80x80.

Fabric is Hometown by Sweetwater for Moda.

Super crinkly.

Congratulations on your law degree! You may not remember me but I had the little fabric store in Cedar Hill called Stitch-n-Lounge. I’m out of business and sewing for now. Your quilt is beautiful! I’m on Instagram as BananaShowcase if you want to peek at my stuff.
